Tropical Love

Today I wanted to share with you a little bit more of this summer vibe. For those of you still working and dreaming about the holiday I’m delighted to share this beautiful bridal editorial.

Love the effortless and natural look of all the details and inspiration. For this editorial I was inspired by the fresh and glowing feelings of summer evenings, when the sun goes down and it feels fresh but still warm.

Barcelona is always a beautiful place to get married. If you are considering to get married in this beautiful city, trust me and don’t even think one moment more. This is an amazing cosmopolitan city, with a maritime backdrop and with so many sunny days…

Red Fish was the perfect place to get a simple, but lovely wedding with not too many guests.

For the model, Katrin Tron I used Face and Body foundation from Mac and I did the minimum corrections with the concealer Fit Me Maybelline in the shade 20. My focus for this makeup look was elevating the natural and bronzing finish and for this I used Go away with the glow from NYX and Hoola bronzer from Benefit - one of the best bronzers ever! Not too orange-y, not too dark, not too light, just perfect for every skin shade.

For the eyes I used one of my latest favourite eye shadow palette from NYX Perfect Filter  in the shade Rustic Antique.

For medel no2, Gisela Beltran  I used Face and Body from Mac too. It’s one of my favourite foundations and it’s been in my kit for editorials for a long time. For a photo session I always look for this beautiful and fresh skin texture. However for a real bride I would use a different foundation, only because its not a foundation with long durability. I will write another post soon about long lasting but very effective makeup for brides.

For the blush I wanted to use some pink romantic tones so I went for the shade 507 in Cheek Fabric Powder Blush from Armani Cosmetics, love the soft texture and it blends perfectly, integrating the pink tone in the skin.

For the lips - for Katrin I have used the classic nude of Mac, Cream the nude but to add more warmness to her natural lip shade I did the lip contour with Spicy lip liner also from Mac.

For Gisele I went for the L'Absolu Rouge from Lancôme in the shade number 393 Rose Rose.

What do you think about these bridal makeup looks? Let me know. What’s your favourite bridal style, the bronzing look for Katrin or the romantic look for Gisele?

Finally I wanted to say a very big thanks to the whole team, it was  very impressive the hard work they did to achieve this tropical atmosphere. All the lovely details to create this almost real wedding…  all of you guys were great. I hope I can work again with you soon.

Keep Glowing!
